Scotland's latest Flying Scot is climbing the motorsport ladder

Strong debut GT season featuring race wins and podium finishes, following a title-contending GB4 championship campaign

Introducing Harry Burgoyne.

Following an impressive debut season in GT racing, Harry Burgoyne is now ready to take the next step in his career - competing at the highest level of British sportscar racing, the British GT Championship.

In 2025, Harry joined Barcelona-based SMC Motorsport for a full campaign in the McLaren Trophy Europe. He immediately made his mark with a podium finish on debut, going on to secure five more podiums, including standout victories at the Nurburgring and the season finale at Paul Ricard. His performances earned him fourth place in the drivers' championship and helped the team finish third overall in the standings.

Across the five round European season, Harry showcased maturity beyond his years - refining his consistency, mastering the challenge of pit stop strategy, and sharpening his race craft with each outing.

Now 18, Harry is focused on building that momentum as he steps up to the Birtish GT Championship, aiming to continue his rise through the ranks of GT racing.

Harry Burgoyne Jnr

"2025 was a very important year for me, moving into a new category and style of racing but it went incredibly well and I'm very grateful to my family, friends and of course my partners and sponsors for their help and support.”

“I don't take it for granted just how special it is to be in the position to go and race cars competitively and at a high level. The thrill and the sensations you get from driving a race car at full speed are just something else. Following such a strong first year in GTs I'm continuing to dream big and hungry to make that next step and carry on with my journey in the world of motorsport!"
